Hulam Compact

Basic version compact version of metallophones. It is built from thinner aluminum tubes and smaller resonators. It provides the player with the range of one octave (8 tones).

Hulam Compact Pro Pro is equipped with bigger resonators, polished tubes, and aluminum elements. It has longer reverberation time and allows for greater dynamics (higher sound intensity).
Both instruments can be diatonic or pentatonic, with tone range within one to two octaves (6 to 12 tones). One-octave version of Compact has a range within the two-line octave or the one-line octave. Two-octave version is a combination of Hulam and Hulam Compact, which offers tone range of one-line octave and two-line octave put together.

Hulam Compact Mini is one of our smallest instruments. It offers 6 tones in the three-line (C5 – C6) octave. With these instruments we use tones arranged according to the Japanese YO scale (C, D, F, G, A, C) or the Indian Hindu scale (C, E, F, G, B, C). The instruments are tuned with the highest precision possible. The Mini version instrument is especially suitable for children thanks to its size, convenience of simplicity to play it and its pentatonic scales. Children can play their first musical pieces on it and develop their musical fantasy, better their hearing, and last but not least, deepen their love for music. It provides the player with a possibility to enhance their fine motor skills, coordination of their eye-hand connection and sight-hearing stimulation.

Hulam Compact Cink is our smallest instrument placed in the lowest price range of our portfolio. It contains 8 tones in the four-line octave (C6 – C7). The tones belong to the C major diatonic scale. This is the only instrument which does not have the typical Hulam resonators, but instead, is built on a poplar plywood. It is shipped with one mallet in a cardboard box.

Hulam Compact Wood is another instrument from the all-wood series made of poplar plywood. This instrument has resonators built in a wooden body. Each tone part has a resonator attached to it that is precisely adjusted in a way to best enhance the tone intensity. Compact Wood is created in various versions; diatonic 8-tone C major in the three-line octave (C5 – C6), pentatonic Hindu in the three-line octave and diatonic 13-tone C major in three to four-line octave. It is shipped with two mallets in a cardboard box.
